Build test automation where data quality actually matters
At Dynatos, you work on how document processing performs in real finance environments.
You will join Routty, our platform for Intelligent Document Processing, with our headquarters in Kontich (Belgium). For this role, we are primarily looking for candidates based in Belgium or the Netherlands.
If the output is wrong, matching fails. Approvals slow down. Errors move downstream.
Your role is to make sure that does not happen.
What you will work on
You help build and maintain the test foundation behind a platform that handles business-critical document flows.
You work with our Routty Testing Framework, built in Python using pytest and integrated into Azure pipelines for end-to-end API validation.
Your work includes:
- maintaining and extending the test automation framework (pytest, fixtures, helpers)
- writing and improving automated API tests
- validating request/response flows and expected outcomes
- setting up and managing test data for reliable end-to-end testing
- analysing test failures and identifying root causes
- supporting regression testing when new functionality is released
- contributing to stable CI/CD pipelines and fast feedback loops
You are not just executing tests.
You help define how quality is ensured across the platform.
Why this role matters
Document processing only works if the data is correct.
If not:
- APIs return incorrect results
- data mismatches occur
- finance processes break downstream
Testing is not a final step.
It is what keeps the entire process reliable.

- end-to-end scenarios with real business impact
That means:
- no static test cases only
- no “happy flow only” testing
- constant focus on edge cases and exceptions
What we are looking for
You are early in your career, but serious about quality.
You bring:
- 0–2 years of experience or strong affinity with Python
- experience with pytest or similar testing frameworks
- basic understanding of REST APIs
- basic knowledge of SQL or willingness to learn
- interest in CI/CD and debugging failing pipelines
- a structured way of working and clear communication
You do not need to know everything yet.
But you need to want to understand how systems behave.
Nice to have
- experience with API or database testing
- experience with document or PDF processing
- experience with scenario-based testing (e.g. behave, cucumber), focusing on end-to-end process flows
- interest in Playwright for frontend testing
- interest in Azure environments
What you will learn
You will build a strong foundation in:
- test automation in real production environments
- API and data validation
- CI/CD pipelines and quality workflows
- how document processing impacts finance processes
This role can grow into test automation engineering, quality engineering, or solution-level roles.
