Help organisations turn e-invoicing requirements into processes that actually work.
The role
E-invoicing is becoming a business priority for organisations across Europe. New regulations, country-specific mandates, and growing compliance requirements mean finance teams can no longer rely on traditional invoice processes.
As an E-invoicing Consultant, you help customers prepare for and implement compliant e-invoicing processes. You work at the intersection of finance, compliance, and technology, translating regulatory requirements into practical ways of working.
Based from our office in Amersfoort, you will work with organisations across the Netherlands and internationally. Many operate in complex ERP environments and are preparing for changing e-invoicing regulations. Your role is to help them remain compliant while keeping invoice processes efficient, scalable, and under control.
What you will do
- Analyse current invoice processes and identify compliance gaps
- Facilitate workshops with finance, IT, procurement, and process owners
- Advise customers on national and international e-invoicing requirements
- Translate business requirements into implementation plans
- Support customer onboarding to networks such as Peppol
- Coordinate testing and validation activities
- Work closely with project managers, consultants, and technical specialists
- Guide users through process changes and new ways of working
- Identify risks related to compliance, process efficiency, and data quality
- Support customers during go-live and adoption phases
Why this role matters
E-invoicing projects affect much more than invoice formats.
They impact finance operations, supplier relationships, compliance processes, and ERP landscapes. Without the right guidance, organisations risk rejected invoices, manual workarounds, inconsistent processes, and increasing compliance exposure.
Your role is to bring structure to that complexity. You help customers understand what needs to change, translate requirements into practical processes, and ensure those changes are successfully adopted across the organisation.
What makes this role different
This is not a technical implementation role.
Success depends on understanding how finance processes work in practice and how regulations affect them. The challenge is often not the technology itself, but aligning people, processes, and systems.
You will work with finance leaders, accounts payable teams, IT departments, and external stakeholders. One project may focus on preparing a customer for mandatory Peppol invoicing, while another involves redesigning invoice processes across multiple countries. That variety gives you direct insight into how organisations operate and how regulatory change impacts their day-to-day business.

- You can explain complex requirements in a clear and practical way
- You remain structured when managing multiple stakeholders

- Affinity with ERP-driven business environments
- Interest in e-invoicing, compliance, and finance transformation
