In June 2024, the President of Poland signed several laws, with a key focus on the postponement of the National e-invoicing System (KSeF).
The amendment to the Act on tax on goods and services (VAT) and certain other acts, originally enacted on June 16, 2023 (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 1598), has officially delayed the implementation of the National e-invoicing System (KSeF). Initially set to take effect on July 1, 2024, the mandatory use of structured invoices through KSeF has been postponed until February 1, 2026. This delay provides businesses with additional time to adapt to the new electronic invoicing system, facilitating a smoother transition.
