This solution automated the handling of diverse invoice formats, allowing for seamless processing of both PDF and XML invoices. Key features included holding invoices, sending emails for clarification, splitting invoices into multiple pages, and efficiently handling product lines. Tungsten AP Essentials also enabled the quick interpretation and routing of invoices to the correct approver through the use of reference numbers.
Results
The implementation of Tungsten AP Essentials brought significant improvements to Jumbo Transport’s invoice management process. The automation reduced manual handling, streamlined the overall process, and increased efficiency. One of the most significant quantifiable results was the ability to process large invoices, such as monthly invoices with approximately 560 item lines, without any manual intervention after initial runs. This automation cut down the time spent on invoice handling by 50%, allowing employees to focus on more value-creating tasks.
