“People drive processes”

Empowering people with Martin Reinertsen
Martin Reinertsen: “People drive processes”

From Oslo to Spain, from Routty to Coupa, Martin Reinertsen is in the middle of it all. As Project Manager at Dynatos, Martin connects people, projects, and platforms to deliver long-lasting transformation. His approach combines hands-on pragmatism with a deeply human mindset. “At the end of the day, everyone is just people,” he says. “If you listen, support, and stay honest, you will build something valuable together.”

Seeing and supporting people

Martin joined Dynatos about a year and a half ago, drawn by its international culture, ambitious projects, and room for personal development. “I wanted to work in an environment that not only implements technology but also takes ownership of creating real value,” he explains. Based in Oslo, he now leads complex implementation projects across Europe and the United States. These include Routty Cloud, Coupa, Process Director, and intelligent document processing.

“I manage multiple projects at once, often in different countries,” he says. “My job is to keep everything running smoothly, ensure collaboration across borders and teams, and leave behind a happy client who is ready for the next step, with Dynatos as a long-term strategic partner.”

“Listen first. Act with integrity. Create something meaningful, together.”

Whether the focus is on compliance, efficiency, or change management, Martin always aims to build trust. “I try to be fully transparent, both in good moments and in challenging ones. That is how I create close, open collaboration. Clients need to feel supported, and the team needs to feel backed up. That is what I focus on every day, always working toward the project’s goal and often laying the foundation for what comes next.”

From process to partnership

Martin sees automation not only as a technical solution but as a shift in mindset. “We help clients move from error-prone manual work to streamlined, data-driven operations,” he explains. “When you introduce e-invoicing, e-ordering, and structured approval flows, you enable better control, fewer mistakes, and more insight.”

One of his proudest achievements so far is a year-long Coupa implementation for Coromatic. “It was a steep learning curve. I had to become fluent in procurement quickly. But what made the difference was the strong collaboration between Dynatos, Coupa, and the client. That teamwork was noticed and appreciated.”

Martin believes successful implementation starts with alignment. Each project kicks off with a structured handover from sales, followed by a detailed onboarding with the client. “Change is not easy,” he says. “We make sure to involve the client’s internal team from the beginning so they can build momentum from within. If they feel confident, the organization will follow.”

Listening over forcing, always

Resistance to change is something Martin encounters regularly. “It is a normal reaction. People worry about losing control or comfort. But when they feel informed and respected, that resistance softens.” He prioritizes open dialogue, clear reasoning, and empathy. “You cannot force change. But you càn show people why it matters.”

“You cannot force change.
But you cán show people why it matters.”

Martin also focuses on creating a positive environment for both internal teams and external partners. “I work hard to keep things constructive. No one thrives in a toxic setting. Breaking down barriers helps everyone move forward together.”

For Martin, sustainable change means long-term adoption. “You need internal champions, proper training, consistent messaging, and leadership that leads by example. Once people see the new way working and the old way being phased out, change becomes reality.”

What is next

Martin is optimistic about the future, especially with the rise of AI, intelligent document processing, and global system integration. “In the coming years, everything will become more connected. Data will flow more freely between systems, AI will take over repetitive tasks, and people will have the space to focus on strategic and creative work.” At Dynatos, these developments are already part of the daily conversation, shaping solutions that help clients work smarter, not harder.

Martin also views this evolution as an opportunity for personal growth. “My goal is to move into a more strategic role. I enjoy leading, mentoring, and helping others succeed. One day, I hope to lead a team of project managers.”

Whether he is navigating a complex rollout, supporting a colleague, or building trust with a client, Martin’s principle stays the same: listen first, act with integrity, and create something meaningful together.
